The elements of internal trade and consumer protection in Homs, in cooperation with one of the competent authorities, seized a truck driver loaded with wheat and another person who stole and embezzled a quantity of the truck's load.
Engineer Rami Al-Youssef, Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, stated that the car was seized, and it is for the Syrian General Grain Corporation, heading from Tartous to a mill in the countryside of Damascus, where it was parked near a warehouse on the Homs-Tartous road, and the driver and the person in charge of the warehouse stole and misappropriated 1120 kg of wheat from a load. The car and placed it in the warehouse and fraud by adding water to the wheat loaded in the car to compensate for the amount of wheat that was stolen and embezzled.
Al-Youssef indicated that the necessary ration control was organized and all necessary legal measures were taken.
