Technology giant Huawei is returning to Israel
Despite the American boycott banning it from using Google services, the Chinese manufacturer is returning to the Israeli market with official imports of the Runlight Group.

Will you re-attack the market?
The Runlight Group announced this morning (Tuesday) that it has signed a distribution agreement with the Chinese technology giant Huawei, as part of which it will significantly expand the range of products sold and business and marketing activities, and will return to operations in Israel with official imports starting in June.
First, a wide range of Huawei products will be sold in Israel - including laptops, tablets, computer screens, smart watches, headphones, audio products and more.
However, at this point Runlight is not expected to import the company's smartphones.
"We are pleased and proud to expand our operations in Israel in collaboration with Runlight. We aim to offer significant value to the Israeli consumer who will meet the innovation and quality that the range of new products has to offer," said Andy Miao, Regional Manager at Huawei.

As a reminder, in November 2019 Huawei entered the US blacklist, which allegedly endangers the security of the homeland. The boycott imposed left the Chinese manufacturer without the possibility to install the various Google services on the smartphones it manufactures, or cooperate with other American companies, and even Caused damage to the company's revenues, a decline in sales of mobile devices and prevented its entry into 5th generation projects in countries around the world.
