But racing past the police at 165 km/h is something you should think twice about.

However, the officials of the Autobahn Police must have been quite amazed in this extreme case, in which a driver on the Berlin A100 was not at all impressed by their presence: the 21-year-old overtook their patrol car at 165 km/h on the wet road - in an area where a maximum speed of 80 is allowed.

He “endangered other road users”, let the Berlin police know on Twitter, and immediately revealed the consequences: “Ride ended & car confiscated”.

Furthermore, according to the current catalog of fines, the hasty contemporaries can expect a fine of 700 euros as well as two points in the Flensburg driving aptitude register (this is how you can query your score there) and a three-month driving ban.

This man even overtook a patrolman at 234 km/h with the allowed 100 – who, however, were driving in civilian clothes.
