The outgoing CEO announced the end of his position out of a desire to "turn to the continuation of his personal and professional path" • His replacements will be Keren Aybshitz-Segal and Daniel Ben-Atar, who will serve as joint CEOs


New appointments at the top of Intel Israel: after six years on the job, Yaniv Gerti, the company's CEO in Israel, will end his position. In his place, Keren Aybshitz-Segal and Daniel Ben-Atar will be appointed to the position, who will serve as joint CEOs.

At the same time, the two will continue their roles at Intel worldwide.

Eivshitz-Segal serves as the CEO of Intel Israel's development centers and the manager of the validation organization in the global chip design and development group. Ben-Atar serves as joint CEO of Intel's manufacturing plants worldwide, and the two also hold the title of corporate vice presidents in the company.

According to Intel's announcement, "the goal of the collaboration between the two is to bring about an optimal connection between the development and production areas of Intel worldwide."

They will officially begin their new role on January 31.

Gerty will accompany them in the coming months to make sure their transition to the role is smooth.

Gerty, for his part, said that after 6 years of significant work at Intel Israel, he wants to turn to the continuation of his personal and professional path.

Ivshitz-Segal started her role at Intel 21 years ago, as a computer science student at the Technion.

Since then, she has focused on developing quality and performance testing products and technologies, and currently leads Intel's global validation organization, which is responsible for testing all personal computing products and servers.

In addition, she also acts as the CEO of Intel's development centers in Israel on three campuses, which employ thousands of workers.

Ben-Atar started his career at Intel about 30 years ago as a student, and then as an engineer at the Jerusalem factory, which was the first that Intel established in Israel.

He has a master's degree in physics and a bachelor's degree in mathematics and physics, both from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Ben-Atar served as CEO of the manufacturing plants in Israel, and two years ago he was promoted to a central position as joint CEO of Intel's manufacturing plants in the world, including the plants in Israel, Ireland, Germany, Arizona, Oregon and Ohio in the United States.
