A man, suspected of having injured a police officer while driving his cart while intoxicated, was remanded in custody on Sunday, October 4, announced the Dijon public prosecutor Eric Mathais.
The man “
refused to obey the police order to stop his vehicle.
He collided with a police vehicle and struck a police officer whom he injured,
”the magistrate explained in a tweet.
The incident took place overnight from Friday to Saturday in Dijon.
The officer was prescribed 10 days of ITT.
The driver of the unlicensed car was to appear Monday afternoon before the Dijon Criminal Court.
