Geocaching, a global treasure hunt

Born with the opening of GPS to the public, this practice has become a way of life for its followers.

When my wife suggests that I go on a trip, I look to see if there are any caches.

If there isn't one, I prefer to look for another destination,

United States, Japan, Germany… The world is a real playground for “geocachers”.

The principle of this treasure hunt is simple: hide and unearth "geocaches" using their GPS coordinates.

Protected and of no monetary value, the caches vary from a box of camera roll to a massive chest, and contain a log of visits - sometimes even a few knickknacks for the lucky ones.
