Israeli settlers have seized a Palestinian home in the West Bank city of Hebron.
The Palestinian Ma'an News Agency stated that settlers, under the protection of the occupation forces, took over a three-storey house in the Qaitoun neighborhood of the Old City of Hebron, and the occupation forces detained an employee of the Hebron Reconstruction Committee.
Imad Hamdan, Director-General of the Hebron Reconstruction Committee, said that this aggressive step falls within the framework of the occupation's attempts to control all of the Old City and its surroundings, indicating that the buildings that were seized are geographically distributed with the aim of besieging the Old City and are concentrated in the southern area of the Old City, which enjoys strategic importance because of its proximity to the school. Ibrahimiya to complete the settlement cordon around the town and displace Palestinians from it.
