A precedent decision: a court ordered a threatened woman to stay in a protected shelter
The police suspect that there is a serious fear for the woman's life, following a shooting incident at her family's home and the assessment that she is under surveillance.
The woman refused to stay in the shelter, and her attorney even filed a request to delay the implementation of the decision, but the court ruled that she will stay in the shelter until Tuesday

Suspicion of murder: a 30-year-old woman was shot to death in Lod (document of MDA operations, Yotam Ronan)
The court in Rishon Lezion ruled today (Saturday) in a precedent decision that a threatened woman will have to stay in a protected shelter until August 2nd.
The woman was brought to court by the police, after there was concern that she was being followed, and following a shooting incident at her family home.
There were no casualties in the shooting.
The investigators of the police station in Lod and in the lowland region suspect that there is a serious fear for the woman's life, but she refused to move to the shelter for her protection.
Following her refusal, the police decided to bring the woman to court and ask him to issue an order that would force her to stay in a shelter.

Also at the hearing, the woman insisted on her refusal, and her attorney submitted to the court a request to delay the implementation of the decision.
The court accepted the request of the police, and ordered her to stay in the shelter until next Tuesday.
The police stated that they will continue to act with all the tools at their disposal in order to protect innocent lives.
Last week, Rabab Abu Siam, who came to the city to see her daughters at her divorced home, was shot dead in Lud.
Abu Siam, a 30-year-old teacher and mother of three children, was warned not to come to the city because her life was in danger, but she chose to come anyway.
She also refused to stay in a shelter for battered women.
