The sausage maker Wilke, which was closed due to germs, could also have processed its goods in ready meals. This reports the "Bild am Sonntag".

The scandal around germs-strained by the Hessian manufacturer Wilke may expand: As the "Bild am Sonntag" reported in their current issue, loaded Wilke products could also have been processed in ready-made dishes from other manufacturers.

The newspaper has an exclusive letter from the Consumer Protection Ministry in Hesse dated 25 October 2019. The Ministry confirms, at the request of the consumer organization Foodwatch, that Wilke products have also been processed in ready meals from other manufacturers. The courts have been recalled "according to currently available information".

Foodwatch boss Martin Rücker demands in the report of the "Bild am Sonntag": "Hessens authorities must call finally all well-known names of concerned manufacturers, brands, products and sales outlets. It is bricked up and covered up!" Rücker fears: "We have to assume that in households and supermarkets still store ready meals, in which Wilke-Ware was processed."
