In response to the appeal launched by all the unions of Marionnaud (Unsa, CFDT, CGT, CFE-CGC), a large majority of women demonstrated in the morning in front of the Parisian headquarters of the perfumer.
According to Marilyn Gentil, CGT union representative, "
40% of the stores

The trade unionist, however, deplores the "

" exerted on employees by management.
The strike movement also affected the areas of Marseille, Toulouse, Strasbourg and Lyon, where 90 people demonstrated in the streets with 30 stores closed in the city and its region.

", regrets Lucila Valentin, 58, store manager and employee at Marionnaud for 24 years.
Christelle Laumé, CFE-CGC union representative, underlines that there has been "
no general increase in wages since 2014
" and deplores "
loyal employees tired

deteriorating working conditions
" and a "
lack of staff
” in store.

A gross increase of five euros for the 1,225 employees at the minimum wage has already been proposed by management, a "
