The Ministry of Defense and the Israel Lands Authority report today (Sun) that they signed an agreement to evacuate and relocate the military court complex in Haifa, located in a central location in the city, for the purpose of establishing a residential and commercial complex - this is as part of the national effort to remove IDF camps from the city centers for the benefit of civic and economic development that leads Rami and the Ministry of Defense in recent years.

The historic complex, which covers about 5 dunams, is located in a strategic location between the Hadar Carmel neighborhood and the lower city, near the district government building and the Haifa municipality.

In the place of the vacated complex, about 100 housing units will be built alongside thousands of square meters of commercial and employment space, following the trend of urban renewal in the Hadar neighborhood and the lower city.

The Ministry of Defense, which owns the military court property in Haifa (M.K. 433) since 1948, is expected to move the activities of the military court, as mentioned, to the Beit Lied camp to the Neveh Tzedek facility.

Today, there is a plan led by the Israel Lands Authority in the deposit stages, when with its approval to take effect in the coming months - the complex will go on the market.

Rami's construction plan on the site is in line with the significant development boom that has taken place in the lower city and the Hadar neighborhood in recent years, when there is an ever-increasing demand for residences and employment in the area.

Also, a historic building on the site, measuring approximately 400 square meters, is intended for preservation.

The evacuation of the military court and the re-marketing of the land will allow for urban continuity and optimal utilization of the area while promoting urban renewal in the area.

The promotion of real estate marketing by Rami coincides with the significant development boom that has taken place in the lower city and the Hadar neighborhood in recent years, when there is a growing demand for residences and employment in the area.
