An 85-year-old was fatally injured in a traffic accident near Steinalben (Southwest Palatinate district) on Saturday.
As the police announced, the woman was on the federal road 270 from Kaiserslautern in the direction of Waldfischbach-Burgalben.
Shortly after the Steinalben exit, she was reported to have left her car on the opposite lane for an unexplained reason and there collided with an oncoming car.
Stone albums - The 60-year-old driver and the 58-year-old passenger were seriously injured and taken to hospitals in rescue helicopters.
The B270 was blocked for several hours.
