Four years after the last time, the progressive rock group Camel will return for one concert in Israel, in this case as part of the band's anniversary celebrations.
It will happen on Monday, May 22, at the Caesarea amphitheater, also this time in the production of Shuki Weiss.
Camel was founded in 1971 by Andrew Lattimore and is led by him to this day.
The band is one of the most prominent and influential in progressive rock and roll in general and in this scene in Britain of the early seventies in particular.
She combines jazz, classical music, blues and electronic music, and has so far released 14 studio albums, in addition to singles, compilation albums and live performance albums.
Unlike big bands in the field, like Yes or Genesis, the band avoided a lot of theatrics.
Over the years Kamel stood out for her live performances and intensity, and recorded cohesive concept albums that drew inspiration from fantasy books, fairy tales and lyrics.
Along with innovation and experimentalism, Kamel was considered melodic and accessible.
