Today, the personnel of the Nazareth Forest Fire Center in Homs put out a fire that broke out in areas of dry weeds and forest trees on the Homs-Tartous international road near the junction of the town of Naara in the western Homs countryside.
The head of the Tal Kalakh forestry department, Elias Bitar, told SANA reporter that the Nazareth forestry cadres controlled the fire and put it out and prevented its spread despite the strong winds, then they carried out the cooling process to prevent it from recurring, pointing out that the public roads police in Tal Kalakh secured traffic on the road to avoid accidents.
