At 4:02 pm, the police received a report from a runner that a man in a dark shirt was lying on a rocky beach in Shawan.

The police officers arrived at the scene and found that the victim was dead, so they carried the body to the nearby Shawan Road and covered the body with a tent to investigate.

The scene was outside the Shawan Drive Sports Ground and near the rocky beach opposite the MacLehose Rehabilitation Institute. Many people jogged along the road on weekdays.

Coincidentally, at about 1 p.m. on September 6 last year, when visitors passed by at the rocky beach of Shawan Drive, a woman with a rucksack was found lying on the ground.

The police arrived at the scene and confirmed that it was a female body. The body began to decompose, with bones in the feet. After investigation, an ID card was seized on the deceased woman. It was confirmed that she was a 39-year-old missing woman surnamed Chen. It is believed that the cause of her death was not suspicious.
