The footage shows several settlers confronting Palestinians. According to the settlers' version, the incident began after a shepherd was attacked near the community of Rimonim, and after his friends from a nearby farm came to his aid, they were also attacked with clubs and stones. In addition, the attackers broke the phones used by the shepherds to document the incident.

"I was grazing the flock of sheep near the farm when suddenly four masked Arabs with clubs ran towards me," said one shepherd who is now in hospital. "I immediately called the other shepherds on the farm who reported to the army and ran to the scene. Within a few seconds, dozens more Arab rioters came running to the scene and simply started throwing me apart with stones and clubs from all directions. There's not a single place in my body that hasn't been hit."
