The IDF Spokesperson's Office on Sunday morning permitted the publication of the names of eight IDF fighters killed in battle in Gaza over the weekend.
These are the names of the fallen:
Staff Sgt. David Bogdanovskyi, 19, from Haifa, a soldier in the 603rd Engineer Battalion, the "Saar Megolan" Brigade (7), fell yesterday in battle in the southern Gaza Strip.
Staff Sgt. Orel Bashan, 20, from Haifa, a soldier in the 603rd Engineer Battalion, the "Saar Megolan" Brigade (7), fell yesterday in battle in the southern Gaza Strip.
Staff Sgt. Gal Hershko, 20, Miftah, squad commander of the 603rd Engineer Battalion, Sa'ar Megolan Brigade (7), fell yesterday in battle in the southern Gaza Strip.
Staff Sgt. Itamar Shemen, 21, from Lapid, a paramedic in the Ga'ash Brigade (36), who fought with the 77th Battalion, the "Saar Megolan" Brigade (7), fell yesterday in battle in the southern Gaza Strip.
Staff Sgt. (res.) Nadav Issachar Farhi, 30, from Herzliya, a combat medic in Battalion 7810, Yiftach Brigade (11), fell yesterday in battle in the central Gaza Strip.
Staff Sgt. (res.) Eliyahu Meir Ohana, 28, from Haifa, a soldier in Battalion 7810, Yiftach Brigade (11), fell yesterday in battle in the central Gaza Strip.
Sergeant Major (res.) Eliassaf Shoshan, 23, from Jerusalem, a soldier in Battalion 6646, the "Marom Foxes" Brigade (646), fell yesterday in battle in the central Gaza Strip.

Last night, Saturday night, the IDF Spokesperson published the names of four additional fatalities who were also killed in various incidents in Gaza.
On Friday evening, it was permitted for publication that anti-tank fire at the Shtula area in the north killed Sergeant Amit Hod Ziv and seriously wounded another soldier.
