The Qatar Charitable Society, which was declared an illegal association in Israel in 2008 and the money it collects has been transferred to terrorist organizations in Gaza for years, is documented by a humanitarian aid department in the Gaza Strip.
The connection between Qatar, known as "the head of the snake," and the Hamas terrorist organization is well known, as is the extensive funding of the organization's activities and its operatives, but this information at the top of the defense establishment does not stop the state's activity in Gaza even these very days. With Israel's knowledge, Qatar transfers aid planes to Egypt, and from there the aid is brought into the Gaza Strip by truck. On the ground itself, members of Qatar's Charity Association distribute the products to the citizens of Gaza – and all this happens unhindered.

It is the eighth charitable association to be declared illegal in Israel due to Hamas-supporting activities and terrorism, documented operating in the Gaza Strip under the auspices of the distribution of humanitarian aid. As first reported by Israel Hayom over the weekend, the associations coordinate with UN organizations and effectively continue Hamas' civilian rule in the Gaza Strip – the one Israel declared it would destroy.

Not only that, but the footage is online for all to see, but the Defense Ministry says there is no ability to block UN cooperation with these organizations and allows it in practice. In addition, on the website of the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories, Defense Ministry officials describe how Israel allows Qatar and Turkey to transfer aid into the Gaza Strip, despite the knowledge that they support Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood.

Turkey and Qatar are frequently mentioned alongside other Arab and Western countries that donate the aid, such as France, the United Arab Emirates, the United States, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Jordan, and Japan. The terrorist organization known as the Qatar Charitable Association has been on the Defense Ministry's list as a fundraising body since October 7 for Hamas.
And now, undisturbed, members of the organization patrol the Gaza Strip and distribute the aid that Israel allows in about 200 trucks a day. So far, the organization has collected donations worth 51 million Qatari riyals. On Tuesday morning, the organization posted a tweet explaining that Qatar, through Hamas, has so far brought equipment into Gaza from the <>st plane to land in Egypt since the beginning of the war. The fact that Qatar is a major mediator in the matter of the release of the hostages has not diminished the connection to Hamas and the state's funding activities for the benefit of the organization – part of Israel's support over the years, but this cannot be a reason to turn a blind eye to the activity of a hostile organization in a time and war zone.

The "Choose Life" forum of bereaved families and terror victims said: "The Qatari Charity Association is a central arm of the Hamas organization and has funded it for years. This is a "humanitarian" association with blood on its hands. We demand that the political-security cabinet put an end to this madness and prevent Hamas' umbrella organizations from transferring aid or operating in the Gaza Strip. There is talk of pressuring Qatar in favor of returning the hostages – and in practice allowing it to continue supporting Hamas during the war. This is unthinkable.
"The transfer of equipment from a declared terrorist organization such as the Qatari Charitable Association harms both goals of the war, both the toppling of Hamas and the return of the hostages. We ask the cabinet members who are meeting tonight to discuss the issue to demand answers and act urgently."
