The prime minister was updated on the quantities of enemy weapons found in almost every house and on the determination of the fighters to continue with all their might, and of course on the many tunnel shafts they found in the heart of civilian territory and the route of the tunnels.
Later, the Prime Minister spoke with the fighters and heard from them about their dedication and determination to the mission - to fight to the end, until victory. "I'm here in the northern Gaza Strip with you, and I'm incredibly impressed. I said earlier to your commanders, and to you, as reservists, as fighters - we are proud of you and trust you. We see the determination and the desire to continue until the end.
"So I have two things to tell you: First, we will do everything to keep you safe, your life. We want the mission, but we want as much as possible to keep you safe. That's the first thing, the most important thing. Second thing - we don't stop. Anyone who talks about quitting - there isn't. Don't stop. The war goes on until the end. Until you finish them, nothing less. I know you've left families and the families are supportive, that's great, that's the strength — that's the key to winning," he said.

The commander of the 261st Brigade, Colonel Yehuda Vach, told Netanyahu: "It is important that you came, and it is important that they know that wherever you tell us, we will win. Not near, not approximately-all the way. We will win."
