Roni Eshel, a 19-year-old Israeli woman, is "Swift" - the nickname for Taylor Swift's biggest and most loyal fans (who, as we know, her Israeli security guard is currently in reserve duty in Israel). But since the bloody October 7, Roni has also been one of the missing and missing whose fate and fate after the Hamas terror attack is still unknown. In a rare and moving move, Israel's official X account (formerly Twitter) published a post in English addressed to Swift, the most successful and popular singer in the world today, in order to raise international awareness of Eshel's absence, and in order to even enlist Swift herself in the efforts to bring her back.

The post, which has amassed 4.7 million views in recent days, read: "We're releasing this to the world in hopes that it will reach @taylorswift13 (Swift's private X account, which enjoys nearly 95 million followers).
"Roni Eshel, a giant Swift, has been missing since the October 7 massacre. Ronnie's family would appreciate it very much if Taylor used her platform to call for Rooney's return.

"While Swifties around the world watch Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (the new film documenting Swift's last tour, considered the most successful live film of all time) and enjoy the new version of the album '1989,' Roni Eshel, a 19-year-old Swift, is still missing. The last time her family heard from her was on the morning of October 7. Fearlessly (a reference to Taylor's album "Fearless"), hundreds of Swifties unite to raise awareness of Ronnie by creating friendship bracelets with her name on it, hoping she'll be here again (a reference to the song "Come Back... Be Here"), and for all the abductees to return home."
🧵Putting this message out into the universe with the hope that it reaches @taylorswift13.
