Planegg has a new grouping: "Pro Planegg & Martinsried", PPM for short.
The two founders, the local councilors Philipp Pollems and Peter von Schall-Riaucour, draw a line under the dispute with the FDP.

- The break came shortly after the local elections in March 2020. Because long-time FDP member Fritz Haugg was unable to assert himself with his demand to become parliamentary group chairman, he declared himself an FDP lone fighter.
Pollems, party-free mayoral candidate of the FDP, and von Schall-Riaucour, since 2008 party free for the FDP in the local council, traded as List FDP from that point on.
In June, meanwhile Haugg had convinced Susanne Trenkle (previously UPM) to join the FDP and thus achieved parliamentary group status, the chairman of the FDP district association Munich-Land, Michael Ritz, wrote to Pollems and von Schall-Riaucour: “Should the name of the FDP continue to be led by you to designate your parliamentary group, we reserve the right to take legal action. "
Go new ways
According to the local authority, said von Schall-Riaucour in a press conference, he and Pollems should "still call themselves the FDP list today". One would look calmly towards a trademark dispute, said Pollems. Nevertheless, the two would prefer to close the chapter on FDP and break new ground. "Wherever a door closes, one also opens," said von Schall-Riaucour. From now on he and Pollems want to shape community policy as a PPM. "We leave the party environment of the FDP at the height, we will always remain true to the liberal idea." The step was associated with a certain risk, since one or two municipal council seats were always safe. "We have the hope and the chance that the voters will remain loyal to us and that we will win many more." Pollems:"This group will start again in five years."
Competence team planned
Nothing changes in the attitude towards Planegger issues: Both affirm the intended purchase of the Heide-Volm.
Von Schall-Riaucour: "We trust our mayor's negotiating skills." The aim is to achieve a complete redesign of Bahnhofstrasse, according to Pollems.
“If the purchase of the Heide property works, wonderful.” The PPM is in favor of keeping the police station in Planegg and is torn about the Martinsried bypass that has been planned for years and is now in question again.
Pollems: "We don't believe that building a new road will solve the problem." At the moment, an idea is being examined legally how the residents of Röntgenstrasse can be relieved without costly construction work.
The PPM is under construction. "We have the name now," said Pollems. Everything else, such as a logo or website, would still come. The plan is to form a competence team with citizens "who do not commit themselves to party politics, but want to help shape", explained von Schall-Riaucour. "In the long term, our goal is to strengthen our influence in the municipal council with more councils, but not necessarily to put up a candidate for mayor."
