With the participation of the Army and Al Wathba teams, the group stage competitions will start in the AFC Cup tomorrow, and the Army will meet Bahraini Manama, while Al Wathba will play with the Jordanian Al-Faisaly.
The army is running the first round of the championship in the first group alongside the Palestinian Hilal Al-Quds and the Lebanese era in addition to the Bahraini pajamas and plays Al-Wathba, which is participating for the first time in its history in the second group with Kuwaiti Kuwait, the Lebanese supporters and Al-Faisali of Jordan.
Al-Wathba and the army booked their seats in the current AFC Cup after the first crowned the Republic Cup title, while the second won the Premier League title last season.
The tournament will be held according to the new system followed by the AFC Competitions Committee two years ago, which provides for the separation of West Asian clubs from their East, where a team from West Asia qualifies to meet the champion of the regional attaché to other Asian geographical regions in the AFC Cup final.
