Munich (dpa) - FC Bayern has kept the top of the table in the Bundesliga thanks to an amazing miss from Leipzig's striker Timo Werner.
The top striker from RB Leipzig missed the huge chance in the goalless top game when he missed the goal of national team colleague Manuel Neuer in the 63rd minute. After the 0-0 in front of 75,000 spectators in Munich, the title fight remains completely open.
Bayern, who continue to lead the table with a point ahead of Leipzig, had a late chance to get a lucky punch: National player Leon Goretzka, like Werner, missed the winning goal when, after a wonderful match with Robert Lewandowski, he was free on the brilliant goalkeeper Peter Gulasci failed.
In the first half, the two best teams in the league did not offer the hoped-for football spectacle.
