The custom-made judoka in the Northern District League experienced a start: they beat the newcomer MTV Ingolstadt 12: 8 in front of their own audience.

Freising - Both teams had an exciting and intense encounter in the well-attended Attachinger sports hall and offered the audience great judo sport at the start of the season. The Freising team was particularly convincing due to their team spirit, never gave up even when they were behind and thus earned the two points.

After weighing, the Freisinger coaches were no longer so sure whether the start of the season would really be a success. "We had to cope with a few shortfalls at short notice and were unable to assess the performance of the Ingolstadt-based company in advance. All the more joy is the double point win against an opponent that we did not expect so strongly, ”said a visibly satisfied Stefan Steinsdorfer. His coaching colleague Andreas Schwaiger added: “Today everyone was really good and with great fighting spirit. We are particularly pleased about the successful debut of Jacob Borchert in the heavyweight division, who was able to set a big point in the first round. ”
