Sanremo, plays record, 11.4 million for the final, highest share since 2002

The final evening of the Sanremo Festival, which crowned Diodato the winner, was followed on average yesterday on Rai1 by 11 million 476 thousand spectators with 60.6% share. Last year the last evening of the festival had collected an average of 10 million 622 thousand viewers equal to 56.5%.

The first part of the final evening (from 21.32 to 23.52) marked 13 million 638 thousand viewers with 56.8%, the second (23.57-1.59) 8 million 969 thousand with 68.8%. In 2019 the first part of the last evening of Sanremo had collected 12 million 129 thousand spectators with 53.1%; the second 8 million 394 thousand with 65.2%. With 60.6% the final of Sanremo has achieved the best result in terms of share since 2002, when the last evening of the Festival, led by Pippo Baudo with Manuela Arcuri and Vittoria Belvedere, collected 62.66%.
