In the Glaspalast, the athlete from SG Hausham finally showed a huge leap in performance. In the shot put final, the athlete trained by Hans Zenzinger lifted the four kilogram ball to an excellent 14.71 meters and thus achieved a new personal best.

On top of that, she secured the strong - and this time by no means thankless - fourth place. Last year's U23 European champion and German indoor vice champion Alina Kenzel (VfL Waiblingen, 17.77 meters) was South German champion ahead of Yemisi Ogunleye (MTG Mannheim, 16.29). The woman from Waiblingen achieved a new German annual best in Sindelfingen and is sixth in the current European ranking.

Stuff was very satisfied with her result: "The training of the past few weeks has finally stabilized my spin impact technique, and it has finally worked in competition." She had long shown this level of performance in training, but had never been able to implement it perfectly , "I got the turn a little quicker and also hit the ball well on impact," said the industrious athlete. "There are still errors that I have to correct, but then there is really more to it." A performance over 15 meters is quite realistic.

The fact that Sindelfingen's record was not accidental is demonstrated by the fact that Stuff once again achieved a best performance of 14.68 meters in her competition. Exactly a stable performance at the 15-meter mark would be very important to stuff in the near future, because this would be the coveted standard for the German title fights, at least in the hall.

With her new record she climbed far up in the rankings: In Germany she is currently in eighth place despite the lack of the DM limit. It is 80th in Europe and 220th worldwide. "It can go on like this," says the housekeeper, who defended her Bavarian championship title a week earlier. At the Bavarian Indoor Championships in Munich, she was already in great shape. At 14.13 meters, she didn't even need her previous season record to prevail. In defending her title, Angela Stockert from SpVgg Auerbach / Streitheim came dangerously close this time with 13.51 meters.

Coach Hans Zenzinger was very satisfied with the recent success: "I am very pleased that she was able to hold her own so well against this competition." The 14-meter mark seems to be a sure thing for the housekeeper.
