Lenggrieser SC rushes into the preparation for the second half of the season. Coach Martin Lindner has a new man at his side for this: Stephan März is co-coach and goalkeeper coach.

Lenggries - The artificial turf pitch of the Lenggrieser SC was modernized in 2018, since last November the completely renewed floodlight system with modern LED technology has emitted the square. The best conditions to prepare for the second half of the season at home. Last Tuesday, coach Martin Lindner only had one run on the program, but in future the ball will roll again in the Isar Stadium. "Except for Wednesday," Lindner holds up the credo of fitness guru Hans Rest, "there is a lot of jogging."

With zero condition, none of the kickers starts anyway. “Most players keep fit in winter with cross-country skiing or ski tours. Nobody comes from the couch, ”reports

Captain Sebastian Biagini on the acceptable basic condition of his colleagues. The joy of playing football was evident in the kickers after the 13-week abstinence from football. Lindner counted 32 players from the first and reserve at the start. However, three men were missing: the cruciate ligament-damaged Markus Artmann and Jakob Gerg, who will only intervene in the game again in the new season, and Max Schmid, who switched to SV Bad Heilbrunn (we reported).

Goalkeeper Florian Schauer underwent a shoulder surgery during the break and is again number one between the posts for the twelve matches that will follow from March 21. He will have his own goalkeeper trainer in the future: After Lindner's previous assistant Peter Kammermeier will devote himself to the master school in the next few months, the former Wackersberg goalkeeper Stephan März Lindner will be on hand as a co- and goalkeeper coach. "We are all happy about that," the coach admits.

Much of the euphoria in the Lenggries camp is certainly due to the optimal starting position. The LSC is two points behind TSV Otterfing; ASV Habach is seven points behind. At least Biagini still believes the ASV can do a lot: "Habach will certainly be dangerous." The trainer presents another verbal steep pass: "Of course we would like to take the climb, but not climbing would not be a broken leg. Then we will attack again in the coming season. ”After all, the Lenggriesers have plenty of arguments in their favor when it comes to the championship / promotion: League leaders Otterfing still has to prove their fitness for the championship in the Isar Stadium, and the Lenggriesers are guests in Habach at the beginning of April.

However, Lindner is looking for the ease that his team carried from one victory to the next at the start of the season - a total of eight in a row. "If we find this lightness again, a lot will happen on its own," Lindner is convinced.

The trainer mixed the LSC friendly game program with three top-class opponents: SV Bad Heilbrunn from the Landesliga and the two district league teams TSV Ebersberg and MTV Berg. "We'll know where we are right now," says Biagini.

The two Lenggries goal scorers on duty, Max Scheck (11 goals) and Luis Jendrzej (9), who have almost two thirds of all LSC goals in their account, should then again pose a threat to the opposing team; mostly supplied by Toni Berger (5) with precise flanks. "He has a good eye for the man next to him and also works hard to the rear."
