Tunisia, Lithuania, Georgia, Switzerland, Italy and many more - at the International Swim Cup (ISC) in Ingolstadt one could have guessed that this would bring together the international swimming elite. In fact, it was a spectacular invitation swim by PSV Eichstätt, to which an Erdinger delegation was also invited.

Erding– Sander Liebig (born 2004) qualified over 100 m breaststroke for the final run, in which he finished seventh in 1: 11.39 minutes and set a new best time. However, he still needs 22 hundredths of a second to participate in the German Vintage Championships (DJM) on this route. For this, it was enough for over 200 m locations with a time of 2: 23.32 minutes for a new club record.

Stephan Rauscher (2003), on the other hand, was particularly pleased with the 100 m freestyle result in many best times because he stayed under one minute for the first time (59.83 sec). He also broke the second club record in 2: 27.87 minutes over 200 meters of butterfly.

Seven starts, seven best times

Lena Birkner (2009) had a full program with seven routes, which she completed without exception. The joy of third place in her class over 50 m back was particularly great (43.22 seconds). Lena Vidovic (2009) remained unbeaten over 50 m freestyle (32.80) and 50 m butterfly (38.77). She took her second silver rank over 3m in 3: 25.28 minutes.

Annica Päßler (born in 2008) also had a tight program, jumping into the water eight times in two days and climbing out only with best times. The biggest jump was made by Päßler over 200 m freestyle, where she improved by a whopping 30 seconds to 3: 03.94 minutes.

Thanks to Sophia Geyer (2006), the Erdinger Delphine accounted for three podium places. The butterfly specialist took victory in 3: 04.95 minutes over 200 m and came third in each of the two shorter distances.

In Felicitas Ambros (2004), the end times over 200 m breaststroke and freestyle were each fifth place in the open classification. In the class, she took second place on the chest line with the third club record (2: 53.65 minutes) and victory in freestyle.

Six floors for Emma Grichtmair

For Emma Grichtmair (2007) from SC Prinz Eugen Munich, the best times over the back distances were a big step towards the DJM. It struck over 50 m back in 34.26 seconds and on the double distance in 1: 13.11 minutes. In order to break the norm, the Erdingerin is currently missing half a second on the respective routes. However, qualified for the southern German vintage championships in Dresden over 50 m back. Grichtmair's yield at the end of the day: two first, three second and a third place.

Amelie Zachenhuber (2004) qualified over 100 m freestyle and 100 m butterfly each for the finals. The fact that these are only three minutes apart and therefore no time to relax at all makes it any easier for the ambitious Zachenhuber. Nevertheless, she showed a decent performance in the freestyle final, which earned her third place. Immediately afterwards it was enough to fly over 100 m butterfly for a time of 1: 04.49 minutes, which under other circumstances they would never have been satisfied, but in this case the second place was completely okay.
