As reported by SportBild , "every Bundesliga club" should be interested in signing five times the U19 international. Schalke 04 in particular is said to have taken a closer look at Ehlers .
Other clubs such as FC Bayern , Mönchengladbach, Bayer Leverkusen, SC Freiburg, VfL Wolfsburg and TSG Hoffenheim are not averse. Championship candidate RB Leipzig is even said to show "concrete interest" in the Munich native.

The teenager's contract does not expire until the summer of 2023 , which is why a move to a Bundesliga club would inevitably mean a transfer in line with the market for Dynamo Dresden. In the event of a relegation of the Saxons, Ehlers would most likely be a first division professional in the summer.
