Peiting does not start as lively as in previous games. It takes three and a half minutes to get the first chance. Simon Maier is not aiming precisely enough on a freestanding basis. Peiting uses the second opportunity directly for the tour. Alexander Winkler simply hits the blue line. Nardo Nagtzaam is just right in front of the goal and falsifies to 1-0 (5th). Now Peiting is in the game. The goal of 2-0 (6th) is a real feast for the eyes. The ECP combines across the entire ice surface. Every player is involved before Dominic Krabbat completes.
EC Peiting clearly takes the lead against Selb
Andreas Magg, who is preferred to Florian Hechenrieder, has hardly anything to do in the ECP gate. On the other hand, Selbs Niklas Deske has distinguished himself several times. In the 13th minute, Magg the puck slips under his arm. He ducks after him. The referees decide on goal, but look at the scene again and revise their decision - further 2-0. Shortly before the first break of the third, the Peitinger use their first overpayment game. Nagtzaam finds Florian Stauder (18th), who only has to push the puck over the line to 3: 0.
The ECP continues to set the tone in the second phase of the game. The "wolves" are now better against it. They still don't have any notable goalscoring opportunities. Peiting has opportunities to further expand the leadership, but is no longer so cold-eyed in the end. Lukas Gohlke (28th) fails at Deske, Thomas Heger (29th) only hits the post. The game splashes to itself. Until Deske can't hold the puck after a shot from Nagtzaam and the disc spins over the line to make it 4-0 (35th). Peiting has everything under control, but is then inattentive. Pavel Pisarik uses this and shortens to 1: 4 (37th). Shortly afterwards, both teams will receive a penalty in succession. In four-on-four, the "wolves" know how to better use the space available. Christoph Kabitzky (39.) puts the puck under the crossbar - 2: 4. From the famous nothing, Selb is suddenly back in the game. Ty Morris hits the post in the majority. Then there is a break and the ECP has time to rearrange itself.
The connection goal succeeds himself - in the end it gets really exciting

Nagtzaam (44th), Simon Maier (45th) and in Powerplay Gohlke (46th) give good opportunities. That gives Selb another boost. The encounter becomes more heated. Peiting survives two outnumbered situations. The "wolves" are increasingly pushing for compensation, the ECP can hardly free itself. It's hard to believe that the Peitinger get into such difficulties after the clear 4-0 lead. Only time is now a friend of the Peitinger, because it runs away inexorably. Just two minutes before the end, Selb takes a break and then the goalkeeper off the ice. Seven seconds before the siren, ECP captain Andreas Feuerecker lets the Peitingen fans breathe a sigh of relief. With his first goal of the season, he shoots Peiting to a 5-3 home win and thus the fourth win in a row.
EC Peiting celebrated the previous three successes against Rosenheim, in Memmingen and against EV Lindau.
