It was nothing with the hoped-for success for the Lamotte team in Geretsried.

The host national team beat the Bayern league team from the large district town 7-2 and acted as a mood brake in the camp of TSV 1865 Dachau on an unusually mild Carnival Saturday. The start and end phases were not the thing for the Lamotte team, as the visitors conceded six of the seven goals in the first and last 25 minutes of the game.
On the artificial turf of the Isara stadium in Geretsried, the Dachau coaching team used all 19 players on the match sheet.
It will be exciting to see what insights coach Fabian Lamotte has drawn from the game, in order to look better next Saturday, February 29, at regional league team SV Heimstetten and to be ready for the start of the game a week later.
Dachau's football boss Ugur Alkan was anything but amused by the poor appearance of TSV 1865 in Geretsried, after the final whistle he said: “A bottomless effort by the entire team. We were always late to the man, never got into the duels. The opponent could do what he wanted. Here, everyone should critically examine their own performance and not reflect that of their teammates. A few percentage points less and you get a result. Sure, fluctuations are possible and also allowed in the preparation, but in the last test game against Heimstetten you should present yourself in point form. We had intensive preparation, and that's a good thing. Heavy legs are understandable, but of course this cannot be an excuse for the performance of our team in Geretsried. ”
