Among the players summoned by the selector of the Brazilian women's team, Pia Sundhage, three are playing this season in the French championship.
At just 42, Formiga plays its fourth season under the colors of Paris Saint-Germain. Arriving in 2017 in the capital's club, the Brazilian star holds several records: in September 2019, she started the 26th professional season of her career, she participated in her seventh World Cup last summer in France and it is the only player in history to have competed in all editions of the women's Olympic tournament since its inception in 1996.
