Düsseldorf (dpa) - Dynamo Dresden has new hope in the relegation battle of the 2nd Bundesliga. The team coached by Markus Kauczinski achieved the hoped-for liberation with a 2-1 (1-1) win at home against Erzgebirge Aue.
Thanks to the two remarkable goals by Patrick Schmidt (44th / 59th), the bottom of the table reduced the gap to the saving 15th place to four points. There were no winners in the other two Sunday games. Holstein Kiel did not go beyond a 1-1 (1-1) in a duel with Greuther Fürth and thus missed the chance to pass the fifth in the table. SV Sandhausen separated from FC St. Pauli with 2: 2 (1: 1).
Leader Armina Bielefeld will meet the six-point poorer VfB Stuttgart in Monday's top game on match day 25 (8:30 p.m.). At least up to this game in Stuttgart, Hamburger SV ranks second after a 2-1 (1-1) win over Jahn Regensburg.
