Philadelphia (AP) - Despite Dominik Kahun's second goal for the Buffalo Sabers, the international ice hockey player was unable to prevent the sixth loss in a row. The Sabers lost 1-3 to the Philadelphia Flyers.
For the first time since the 2015/2016 season, Buffalo has not scored a point six times in a row in the North American NHL. In the table, the guests occupy 14th place in the east and are thus far outside the playoff ranks. Kahun scored in the 37th minute in the meantime 1-1.
Leon Draisaitl, however, was more successful with the Edmonton Oilers, whereby the best scorer in the league remained without a point in the 4-1 victory against the Columbus Blue Jackets. In the Western Conference, the Canadians are fourth with 82 points.
Thomas Greiss previously suffered a 2: 3 defeat with the New York Islanders after extra time against the Carolina Hurricanes. Korbinian Holzer also won his second game with the Nashville Predators. The defender may have legitimate hopes of attending the finals after a 1-0 win at the Dallas Stars.
