Rest for almost all players ... and more work for Thiago Silva in his race against the clock to participate in the match on Wednesday 11 March. The Camp des Loges was open this Sunday for the captain and a few partners who wanted to treat minor injuries, while Thomas Tuchel had decided to give his players a day off in the wake of the postponed match in Strasbourg which should have argue Saturday March 7.
All Parisians are expected this Monday morning for the first of three preparation sessions for the match against the Germans. The twenty-four hours before the match will be a little different from that of the last two seasons, with the approach of the return matches against Real Madrid and Manchester United. Before the match against the Spaniards, the ultras went to the Rueil-Malmaison hotel where PSG went green, to encourage the players.
The following year, Thomas Tuchel kept his current mode of operation to prepare for the match against Manchester United, by meeting his men directly at the stadium, after letting them go home after lunch. Some were stuck in traffic and were several minutes late.
Short muscle awakening
For the match against the Germans, Thomas Tuchel applies the same recipe as that in force this season, without changing habits. Players are called in Tuesday at 10 a.m. for a training session at 11 a.m., watched by the media for fifteen minutes. Only Thomas Tuchel and a player will pass through the Parc des Princes for the press conference in the afternoon (4:45 pm).
Like last year, the players will sleep at home, but this time they will go green on Wednesday, following a short muscular awakening at the Ooredoo center. The Paris group will join the Parc des Princes by coach and police escort, which will avoid any unpleasant surprises.
