The Landesliga soccer players of TuS Holzkirchen sent a strong signal with the 2: 1 (0: 0) win at Kirchheimer SC and scored important points in the fight against relegation. The celebrated match winner was the substitute winter returnee Semir Ljumani.
After the final whistle, the Holzkirchner danced and celebrated on the square as if they had just secured relegation: it is still a long way to go - but with the victory at the KSC, the revamped TuS Holzkirchen has left the relegation places.
"It doesn't work as much as I want it to," said TuS coach Torsten Spittler after his successful point game premiere. "The victory is not undeserved, though a little bit happy."
In adverse conditions - sleet and sleet alternated, a gusty wind temporarily swept across the artificial turf pitch - the hosts had a better start: Fabian Löns pushed the ball past the goal from twelve meters (11th). An intense game with many duels developed, both teams initially operated on the small court mainly with long balls.
Not much happened in front of both gates in the first round, Holzkirchen had to wait a long time for a clear conclusion. Coach Spittler was really loud in the cabin: “I made it clear to the boys that we only have a chance if we keep the ball flat. We played like our opponents and made it too easy for Kirchheim. ”
After the change, the Holzkirchner took the initiative and got their upper hand with their short pass. Kirchheim remained dangerous in front of the box: Löns missed the best opportunity of the game, shooting from three meters free-standing (69.). The retaliation took revenge: Substituted Andreas Bauer had a much too short pass from Kirchheim's Denis Zabolotyni, failed to goalkeeper Michael Franz, and Semir Ljumani thumped the ball into the TuS leadership (79.). The 22-year-old was there for just a minute. When Marco Flohrs fell in a duel with Sepp Kollie, there was a questionable penalty for the KSC - Ricardo Jacobi converted to 1-1 (82nd). Everything came to a draw, but the TuS took more risk and was rewarded: Luka Zebec flanked from the left and Joker Ljumani was there with his head (89.).
