The Betar Jerusalem decided to host Hapoel Bash without a public entrance at all to Teddy Stadium. This was followed by the new Health Ministry guidelines that limited the audience to just 2,000 viewers. The club's announcement read that in light of the small number of tickets available and the fear of contagion, the club chose not to discriminate among fans, (subscribers and ticket buyers for the game) and hold the game without an audience.
The statement reads to fans: "We apologize to our many fans for the agony but this is the reality we are dealing with. Betar, like the entire Israeli economy, is facing the consequences of the Corona and is closely monitoring developments. We promise to keep updating all the time and give everything to you on the field, even when you're not in the stands. "
