Unsurprisingly, the Blues' matches against Ukraine and Finland scheduled for the end of March will be played behind closed doors at the Stade de France because of the Coronavirus. The announcement was validated by the president of the FFF, Noël Le Graët. "A match in Lyon makes no sense," said the manager at the microphone of the BFM TV channel, indicating that France-Finland, scheduled for March 31 near Lyon, would be relocated to Saint-Denis, where the Blues face four days earlier Ukraine (March 27).

Due to the lack of travel to Lyon, the French team will play in the Rhône during the League of Nations with the reception of Sweden on November 15. A choice that will delight Lyon supporters and which also falls well due to the scheduling of a test match of the XV of France at the Stade de France planned around this same period. As a reminder, Didier Deschamps will unveil his list for the matches against Ukraine and Finland on Thursday March 19. The Blues will be gathered in Clairefontaine the following Monday. It will be the last meeting of the world champions before the list of 23 revealed in May and the preparation for the Euro which will start on June 12.
