On the last weekend of the relegation round of the Landesliga, SC Forst suffered a low blow. In the end, however, there were happy faces with the "Nature Boyz".
Forst - They literally had to shake to the last second, but then it was done: With the 6: 5 (1: 2, 3: 1, 2: 2) away win at TSV Farchant, SC Forst managed the relegation round in the last game Remain in the national league. Lorenz Barfüßer in particular suffered hell agony: The chairman of the SC "was nerve-wracked," as Forst spokesman Werner Schilcher reported. The game developed into a tangible debacle for them, in the end they had to go home with a 0: 8 (0: 3, 0: 4, 0: 1) swatter in their luggage. "An indisputable achievement," said SC spokesman Schilcher. "The majority of the team did not see any resistance," complained Schilcher. Tobias Dietz made a particularly unfortunate figure. After a long injury break, he played his first game in Pfronten. At the beginning of the second third, his trainer sent him onto the ice for the first time, and after only about 20 seconds, Dietz's working day was over. Because of a gang check, in which the opposing player injured himself, Dietz received a game penalty.

With this 0: 8 bankruptcy, the "Nature Boyz" put themselves under pressure. Before the final guest appearance in Farchant they had slipped to the last place and would have relegated to the district league. In order to make it to relegation, a win in regular time was needed. In the first third, there was no sign of a happy ending for the "Nature Boyz". Despite the early lead goal by Manfred Guggemos (4th), they went 1: 2 behind. In the middle section, the Forster turned the tables. After 2-2 by Manuel Weninger (25th) they fell behind again, but then Bastian Grundner (36th) and again Guggemos (40th) ensured a 4: 3 lead with their goals.

In the final section, the "Nature Boyz" had to accept the 4: 4 (50th), but after two goals within two minutes by Michael Krönauer (56th) and Daniel Anderl (58th) they were ahead with 6: 4. After the Farchanter hit 57 seconds before the end, the Forster had to tremble again. The home side took their goalkeeper off the ice for another outfield player, and SC striker Sascha Zenzs also got a penalty. But with united forces the "Nature Boyz" prevented the balance - the relegation was done. The victim of the Forster victory was the EV Pfronten, who slipped to the last place in the final table and thus descended.
