The European Football Association (UEFA) has rejected speculation that the European Championship will soon be postponed until 2021 due to the outbreak of the new Corona virus.
"The Euro 2020 competitions will start on the 12th of June 2020 in Rome," the German news agency DPA quoted the union as saying, noting that it is in constant contact with international and local authorities that have a relationship with the Coruna virus and its developments.
Several media outlets reported that the month-long tournament in 12 countries may not be held on time due to the spread of the Coruna virus.
