Dusseldorf (dpa) - Bundesliga soccer club Fortuna Dusseldorf calls for the cancellation of the Friday game against SC Paderborn because of concerns about possible coronavirus infections.
"Health and protection must have absolute priority over current economic considerations," said Fortuna CEO Thomas Röttgermann "RP Online". A club spokesman confirmed the report, according to which Paderborn also support this application with the German Football League.
A corona virus test by SCP trainer Steffen Baumgart had previously been negative. However, further tests are still pending with club professionals. The game should start at 8.30 p.m.
