No sign of staralling: Arjen Robben, former soccer ace of FC Bayern, kindly and patiently fulfilled the autograph and photo requests of the mini kickers on the "Arjen Robben Day" of TSV Grünwald. The F-Juniors of FVgg Gammelsdorf were also there, for whom the tournament last Saturday was an unforgettable experience. The children watched with awe as the Dutchman prepared his F-youth team, in which his offspring also kicked, for the games.

The FVgg kids also played football, of course - and not bad at all despite the strong field of participants: After three defeats (0: 1 against Geiselbullach, 0: 6 against Grünwald II, 2: 4 against Grünwald I), Gammelsdorf won 3: 1 against Bad Feilnbach and only played 0-0 against Reichenberg after three post shots. After the final 0-2 against Steinkirchen, the FVgg took sixth place - a placement that was secondary on the day. Robben would not have been against an invitation to a return visit with his team at the Gammelsdorfer junior tournament, said coach Gregor Schwitalla, but the Dutchman was drawn back to his homeland. He is currently building a house in the Netherlands, he said, and in the summer he plans to break down his tents in Munich and return to Holland.
