There is concern at Maccabi Haifa ahead of the game against Bosnian Zeleznitzer this coming Thursday, but this is not a professional matter. Six league leaders in Bosnia were diagnosed as positive for Corona and did not take off with their team for Israel ahead of the Europa League qualifiers.
The concern in Carmel is, God forbid, the infection of one of the green players, as there is no way to know whether there will be more infections among Zelzenitzar players until the game. The players who have been infected are Irpen Fejcic, Fran Iikic, Damir Sadikovic, Mustafa Mugzynowicz, Armin Zacz and Samir Bakrich. Fjajicic is the team's first goalkeeper, Armin Jecc is the leading striker and Mojzinovic has scored four goals in the last five games. "Despite everything they are a good team, we will have to monitor their morbidity situation and prepare accordingly," the Green Club said.
Beyond that, UEFA will not change anything regarding the game and it will take place as usual this coming Thursday. As far as the squad is concerned, coach Barak Bachar does not have too many options. The unit at the moment is whether to come up with two strikers, in which case Jordan Shua will play alongside Rokavica, or come up with a lineup of three front players with Yannick Wildshot as a winger.
