South Africa is still in turmoil following the insane video released in recent days, in which a 24-year-old man is seen trying to kidnap a 4-year-old girl from a restaurant in Johannesburg, in front of security cameras.
The video shows a family of three - a mother with her two daughters, one of them four - sitting outside a local restaurant in Johannesburg, when suddenly a young man emerges, jumps over the fence and tries to kidnap the little girl in front of her mother's eyes.
Luckily, at the next table was Disal Soko, who is also an amateur fighter in MMA and Brazilian jiu jitsu.
Soko did not think twice;
He jumped on the young man as he held the girl in his arms, trying to free her from his arms.
He pulled him back, lay down on the floor and locked him in a back choke for about a minute, until more civilians helped him take over until police arrived.

Police who arrived at the scene arrested the young man, who in another video uploaded to the network was seen mumbling a few obscure words while handcuffed and confined to the floor, after snatching blows from his helicopter and other civilians who were in the restaurant at the time.
He is charged with attempted kidnapping and his trial is expected to open in South Africa in the coming months.
Meanwhile, Soko has become a huge hero in his country, giving interviews to countless media outlets about the case.
"When I remember by chance, I can't believe I did it," Soko said.
"I was sitting in a restaurant with my father, when suddenly he told me to keep an eye on the young man advancing to the restaurant, he claimed he looked suspicious to him. Suddenly he started running and jumped over the fence. I did not think twice and as soon as he grabbed the girl, I grabbed him and took him to the ground. "I have a lot of experience in the world of martial arts, and especially in jiu jitsu. What you see in the video is years of experience that drained into one action, which lasted less than a minute. I'm glad I was able to respond in time."

"I explain to them that an integral part of the martial arts world, is to know how to read situations and always be prepared.
