Two world records were broken tonight (Wednesday) in athletics impressively: Joshua Chaptagay of Uganda shattered the record in the men’s 10,000-meter dash, while Tsenabat Gidey of Ethiopia broke the 5,000-meter women’s record in the Valencia run.
The 24-year-old Chaptagay set an incredible time of 26: 11.02 minutes, setting the 15-year-old record of cannabis at just over six seconds.
"It was my dream," he said, "we're trying to make history on the track, to remind people that it's still an exciting industry."
Did he make history?
For him, "it's just a basis for what I'll achieve later in the career."

On the other hand, the 22-year-old Gidi set a time of 14: 06.62 minutes, breaking the 2008 record of Triune Dibaba (which stood at 14: 11.15 minutes).
"It's really a dream," she said, "it's beautiful for Ethiopia. Before it was Dibaba, now I am."
This is a special event that took place in Valencia, in an almost completely empty stadium, where only about 400 people were present, including journalists, sponsors and staff, who watched the historic moments.
