Team brake Louis Taha was found positive for Corona in a test conducted by the players and members of the professional team two days ago, the Israeli team announced this morning (Wednesday).
Taha, a Hapoel player from BS and his team recently contracted six other players (also coach Yossi Aboksis), is the only member of the Israeli delegation to Scotland who received a positive test.
Already last night, when the team realized that there was a reasonable chance that Taha had contracted, he did not conduct the evening training with his friends and remained in his room in isolation even though he did not suffer from symptoms.
The team said that Taha stayed with the other players in meetings and rooms, so they closely monitor the situation and asked all players to report any symptoms that appear immediately.
Now, the big concern in the team is that while he has been with the rest of the players in recent days, there will be more players who will be infected.
The next test of the team's players is expected to take place after the game against Scotland on Thursday, when another game against the Czech Republic in the League of Nations awaits Israel on Sunday.
