2020-12-08T18:10:47.844Z

VIDEO - Tolisso with Bayern, Modric with Real or Szoboszlai with Salzburg: discover our top 5 goals from the group stage of the 2020-2021 Champions League.

5. Alassane Pléa (M'Gladbach) vs Shakhtar Donetsk

If he is not unknown to the general public, Alassane Pléa (a selection for the France team) discovered the Champions League this season, at 27 years old.

The French striker continued his good year 2020 on the European stage with Borussia Mönchengladbach.

The German team stood out by crushing Shakhtar Donetsk in Ukraine (0-6).

Pléa offered himself a hat-trick, including a powerful strike from the right to 20 meters.

4. Luka Modric (Real Madrid) vs Shakhtar Donetsk

Shakhtar conceded a lot of goals, and not the ugliest ones.

The 2018 Ballon d'Or Luka Modric has shown that he still has some under the sole, at 35 years old.

The Croatian midfielder fled the pressing from Mateus Martins and Marcos Antonio before shooting an arrow into Anatoliï Troubine's top corner.

A nice goal but useless.

Shakhtar were already leading 3-0 and won 3-2 to strike a big blow on the first day of the group stage.

3. Angelino (Leipzig) vs Istanbul Basaksehir

It is yet to be presented, but not for very long.

Angelino (23) stands out as one of the best left-backs in this Champions League.

Not yet called with La Roja, the Spaniard shines with Leipzig, like his goal from the first day against Basaksehir, after 15 minutes of play. From a control oriented behind the supporting leg, Angelino mystified the Turkish defense before continuing with a shot from the left low to the ground.

2. Corentin Tolisso (Bayern Munich) vs Atlético de Madrid

Another Frenchman.

Corentin Tolisso has juggled physical glitches since arriving in Bavaria in the summer of 2017. The world champion has made his way into a rich squad in midfield, and has contributed to the resounding success of Munich against the Atlético de Madrid (4-0).

The former Lyonnais scored the third goal on a long shot that cleared the spider web in Jan Oblak's nets.

1. Dominik Szoboszlai (RB Salzburg) vs Lokomotiv Moscow

Learn how to spell its name correctly, because you are not done seeing it.

Szoboszlai (20) is the providential man of the Hungarian qualification for the Euro, which will take place next summer, and should present a serious threat to the France team.

In Salzburg, the left winger is essential.

The highlight was his swinging bar without momentum from an off-center position to knock out Lokomotiv Moscow.

An equalizer before half-time which was not enough to win: final score 2-2.
