Tense negotiations between the LFP and Mediapro
A very dark outlook for
Téléfoot
, the birth of which coincided with the launch of the Ligue 1 season this summer.
In October 2020, Téléfoot's parent company, Mediapro, announced that it refused to pay the second payment of broadcasting rights to the LFP while asking for a renegotiation of the amount of these rights due to the health crisis that has upset the calendar of competitions.
In conflict for two months, the two parties are engaged in negotiations with an uncertain outcome.
