France team: a busy schedule for the Blues

2020-12-08T20:58:38.176Z

The 2021 calendar is marked by the qualifications for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, the Euro and the Final Four of the Nations League.

The France team has received its full roadmap for the race for qualification for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The day after the draw, which reserves a relatively favorable group with Bosnia, Ukraine, Finland and Kazakhstan, the Blues now know their schedule.

The staff of Didier Deschamps will therefore begin to organize complicated logistics in view of the long journeys to be made.

A real headache while the international program is already busy in 2021 with the delay of Euro 2020 to next summer (June 11-July 11).

France will start their home campaign against Ukraine on March 24 before a very long trip of nearly 5,000 km to Kazakhstan, an opponent the Blues have never faced.

For the occasion, the world champions will play at 3 p.m. to promote recovery.

Three days later, they will indeed play in Bosnia.

A destination that the delegation could reach directly rather than return to France.

After the summer when the Blues hope to shine at the Euro where they face Germany, Hungary and Portugal in the first round, three new matches in six days are scheduled for September including a trip to Ukraine.

In October, the French team will be engaged in Italy in the Final Four of the League of Nations against Belgium and possibly against the winner of the match between Italy and Spain.

Qualifying for the World Cup will end in November with two matches, the last of which will be in Finland on the 16th.
