The General Sports Federation honored the Syrian basketball team and its training and administrative staff after its victory over its Iranian counterpart in the Asian qualifiers in the third window competitions, during a ceremony held this evening in the Al-Galaa Sports City in Damascus.

Our team had beaten Iran by 77-70 points within the second window in their match on the 30th of last month, after losing to Qatar by 72-79 points in the first match from the same window, and they would meet Saudi Arabia in the first match from the third window on the 18th of February of next year.
